New Delhi, Jan. 24, 2017: Day camps provide the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends and discover new interests, among other things. Keeping this in mind, the Pre-Primary Department of the School organised a ‘Day Camp’ titled ‘Health and Nutrition’ for the students of Class K.G.

All the activities were designed keeping in view the all-round development of students. The day started at 8:00 am with seeking the blessings of the almighty and a warming-up session. This was followed by ‘Aerobics’ and swaying to the rhythmic movement infused with a lot of energy and agility for the exciting day ahead. Another highlight was meeting and interacting with the dentists, Dr. Aparna and Dr. Twinkle, who discussed about the importance of dental care which included ways to brush the teeth and how food helps their bodies to grow. Students had gala time playing ‘Musical Chairs’ and ‘Ball Pool’.

The day concluded with a PowerPoint presentation on ‘Health is Wealth’ and a sandwich-making activity which proved to be a great way to develop fine motor skills and foster self-confidence in the young learners.
