#opinions matter

Apeejay School, Pitampura, hosted yet another session of its popular online discussion titled #opinionsmatter on 9th October on the topic ‘Covid Mein Atmanirbharta’.

The online session had speakers from classes V-XII eloquently and honestly sharing their new found self-reliance in the face of the challenges posed by the pandemic. Each student spoke with clarity as to how they coped and faced the tough times by helping their parents in doing household chores themselves and learnt a new lesson that would stay with them forever. The senior students cited the challenges faced by the common people and urged all to rise above the narrow boundaries of caste, community and language to create a new country where the people are sensitive and empathetic to the needs of their fellow beings. Hrishika Anurag of Class X moderated the program with the finesse of a pro and paved the way for many superlatives coming her way. School Principal, Ms Veena Goel, appreciated the public speaking skills of the panelists and congratulated the students for their wholehearted participation in the co-scholastic activities of the online school.
