New Delhi, March 31, 2016: "Children are educated by what the grown-up is and not by his talk." – Carl Jung
In line with the above saying, imparting finest education becomes all the more important for schools. Providing exposure by introducing lot many activities for the students dominates our day-to-day teaching. To give a slice of the different flavours served in the school curriculum, a four-day long Contact Programme was organised for the new Nursery entrants from 28th March – 31st March 2016.
A detailed itinerary of fun-filled activities was planned for them which included free play on Bouncy, Ball Pool, and Toy world. The scared and sad faces of the students turned into glowing ones at the very sight of their favorite cartoon characters ‘Chota Bheem and Mickey Mouse’ standing at the school entrance to welcome them. A day with the magician further brought cheers and smiles on their faces.
Puppetry was yet another attraction of the Contact Programme which brought out liveliness in the students. The story titled ‘Zelder the Zebra’ was also shown to the students.
Activity time was time for all to listen to the instructions and follow them. Little fingers were seen handling paper, glue sticks and craft material with utmost care.
The bond of love and sharing was very visible during snacks time. The Programme concluded with many wonderful memories to be cherished by one and all.
