New Delhi, April 11, 2020: Apeejay School, Pitampura, hosted an Inter-Apeejay online panel discussion titled ‘CONFAB’, on 11th April 2020, on the topic ‘Reinventing Education - Ending the Blame Game, Learners take Responsibility’. 11 students of Class XII from Apeejay Schools across the country participated in the discussion. They enthusiastically discussed the state of education - now and otherwise, and the ways and means in which we can help to reinvent education taking the onus. They candidly shared their personal experiences during these challenging times of the pandemic, COVID-19 and how we can be innovative & improvise in the field of education.
It was the first time that such an initiative was taken and it is worth mentioning that it was a brainchild of the School Principal, Mrs Veena Goel, who brought the extended Apeejay Stya family on one platform, giving the feel of oneness which is much required during these tough times.
Dr Manjari Singh, Associate Professor, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, graced the occasion as the judge and guest. The English Department also joined in and was appreciative of the efforts of the students in keeping themselves engaged fruitfully.
The participants very meticulously dressed in their uniforms were enthusiastic in sharing their experiences about online learning and were unanimous about missing the intimacy of the personal interaction and interface with the teacher. They were happy about the fact that they had got the opportunity to share their views on an online platform.
They talked about adapting digital tools & technology and coming out resilient in the hour of crisis. Mrs Veena Goel, School Principal, also shared her views. Dr Manjari Singh also shared her view point congratulating Apeejay School, Pitampura, on taking the initiative. She also congratulated the students on how well they spoke. Deesha Kakkar from Apeejay School, Saket, was adjudged the best speaker along with other participants who were appreciated for their clarity of thoughts and confidence.
