New Delhi, May 2021: Apeejay School, Pitampura extended a hand of support and care through its inaugural online morning programme [email protected], which would go live every Saturday at 11 am. Apeejay @Cares4U is a small step to search for hope, faith, and light when we are surrounded by uncertainty and insecurity. At times our light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us. The show was blessed with an excerpt from Chairman, Apeejay Education, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia’s moving message to all.
The morning was lit up with a sooting melodious prayer by Tanushree Malik, alumna, followed by ‘Aap Ki Fitness’ tips by Mr. Arvind Kaushal, HOD - Physical Education Deptt., followed by Yog Darpan in which easy Surya Namaskar yoga asanas were shared by Ms. Nitasha Garg, a Yoga expert in the school, inspiring all to keep one’s health on top of the priority list. Melodious songs and flute performances added a musical flavour to the atmosphere. Special thanks and appreciation for Khushi Garg, Pradyumun Arora (Flute), and Sparsh Gulati, alumni who captivated the attention of all with their musical presentation in the segment ‘Geetmala’. A mesmerising story session ‘The Lucky Bird’ by Mrs. Sapna Sondhi, PGT English in the Folklore segment, was the highlight of the show, as the young students, parents, and teachers listened with rapt attention to the magical storyteller. Sargun S.Juneja a student from Class IX, spoke enthusiastically on the main theme – ‘I Am Thankful’ and shared his viewpoint with conviction and clarity.
Apeejay @Cares 4U was received well by all online attendees as the two anchors, Khushi Kalra and Saideep Keshri, eloquently steered the program to success. Hartej Singh, Class X handled the online program, visuals, videos, and sound with the ease of a pro. [email protected] will be live every Saturday as a means to stay connected with each other in such disturbing and challenging times. We hope more & more students and parents would join us every Saturday as our students weave their magic to bind us together.
Stay safe! Stay healthy!
