New Delhi, July 23, 2016: Apeejay School, Pitampura organised its Annual Exhibition on the theme ‘Celebrating 400 years of William Shakespeare’. Mr. Arjun Bahadur, Assistant Director of Schools, Education Society, British High Commission was the chief guest for the occasion.
The students had put up an array of exhibits, wall magazines and project files showcasing the biography and the different works of William Shakespeare. The centre-stage had been captured by the role plays ad scene enactments from famous Shakespearean tragedies and comedies. Through these plays, students were able to enhance their confidence, fluency, acting and presentation skills. Apart from the main theme, topics such as ‘Knowing our Country’ and ‘Kalidas: The Master of Sanskrit Literature’ were also included. The Pre-Primary Department had put up a colorful exhibition on the theme ‘Jungle Safari’. One of the best crowd-pullers was the school-band ‘Symphony’ that played a number of melodious tunes throughout the day.
Overall, the exhibition provided students with a platform to showcase their talents. Each classroom became a celebration of innovation. It was a pleasure to see amazing role plays and presentations put up by the talented students.
