New Delhi, January 30, 2015: The School celebrated its Annual Appreciation Day wherein Mr. K.K. Chaudhary, Controller of Examinations, CBSE and a host of other dignitaries & distinguished members of the Apeejay Education Society graced the evening with their presence. The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by the address of the School Principal, Mr. D.K. Bedi who presented the school report which gave a glimpse of the major events and achievements of the school.
This was followed by a cultural programme. The highlight of the function was the play 'The Trial of Truth' which was a biographical account of the life of Greek philosopher, Socrates. The students brought alive on stage the vibrant colours of India and presented Santhal and Manipuri Dance. It was followed by the prize distribution ceremony wherein the students were felicitated for their excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. The school choir and orchestra enthralled the audience with their lively and vibrant songs. The lively show was aptly given a grand finale with a breathtaking and rhythmic performance of students in a Fan Dance. The rich display of colour, music and dance left the audience spellbound.
