Delhi, July 24, 2021: To inculcate reading habits, develop critical thinking skills, and improving self-confidence among the students, an Inter-House Book Review Competition was held for classes VIII and IX on 24th July 2021. The students enthusiastically shared their views and understanding of the two popular books – ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ and ‘7 Habits of Highly

Effective People’ as part of the online competition ‘Battle with Books’.

The judges - Ms. Mala Dayal and Ms. Shivani Verma from the English Department appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged more students to participate in such literary and creative activities. The competition was appreciated by the parents and the students.

Apeejay School, Pitampura strongly believes that the opportunity to read and reflect after reading a book can help the children connect events and themes and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Such co-scholastic competitions are a regular feature of the school curriculum even in the online mode of education.
