~Adventure sports for students are highly motivational and practical which are unlikely to be seen from the normal classroom environment. Adventure aims at increasing productivity, encourages students to work in different working environment, it builds team spirit, friendship and trust amongst each other.~

The School organised Adventure Camps for the students of Apeejay School, Pitampura in association with Rocksport. Day camps for the students of classes Nursery - III within the School premises. A plethora of non-stop adventure activities and fun games kept the kids hooked. Supplemented with nutritious meals at regular intervals, a dose of valuable leadership skills and music ensured a day full of fun & excitement.

Packed with yoga sessions, adventure games, music and bonfires made the overnight camps in the School a perfect experience for the students of classes IV and V. Staying away from home brings a variety of new challenges and therefore, the main emphasis at the camp was to have students living together with each other in a healthy and stimulating environment. They experience living out in tents, spend quality time with friends and teachers, and enjoy the simple camp pleasures within the safe environs of the School. They relished the hot mouth-watering delicacies provided to them at regular intervals.

The students of classes VI - IX also experienced a day full of adventure, fun, excitement, tasty food and valor at the 24 Barracks Camp, Kundli. The students returned with memories to be cherished forever.

These adventure camps aimed at maintaining fitness level and the physical-mental balance of a student. The young students gained new perspective as they got to face different obstacles in the form of activities like Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Tyre Maze, Zip Lining, Wall Climbing, Zorbing, etc. It helped to make the student stronger and build his personality so unique and distinguishable. The amount of energy and enthusiasm exhibited by the students was enthralling.

Delhi, Dec. 27, 2018: About 104 students of Class VIII from Apeejay School, Pitampura, along with four teachers, got an opportunity to visit the Itihaas Heritage Walk. Students first visited Nicholson Cemetery – a Christian graveyard where John Nicholson’s grave is present. Then, they visited Kashmiri Gate, one of the original gates of Shahjahanabad (the road from it led to Kashmir). Students also went to the Election Education Centre-cum-Museum, where they observed the evolution of the electoral system in India. The Itihaas’ guides enriched all the students with facts and legends of the Revolt of 1857, the first war of India’s Independence. Students were also provided with a workbook which contained interesting questions and activities. Students also watched a short film about how to participate in voting. It was a mesmerising historical trip in which students learned a lot about India’s history besides getting a deep insight of the electoral process and reforms.
