New Delhi, September 29, 2012: Apeejay School, Pitampura in association with Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp in the school premises. Apeejay School, Pitampura is a frontrunner and an active initiator of such community service programmes. The Interact Club of the school worked round the clock to garner support and participation of parents and volunteers for this noble cause.

An enthusiastic group of 217 parents and volunteers participated in the Donation Camp. A team of medical personnel from Rotary Blood Bank coordinated the whole programme in which 130 units of blood was collected. Besides parents and faculty members, ancillary staff members were also encouraged to contribute towards the noble cause.
