New Delhi, November 1, 2014: The Interact Club of the School, in association with the Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi, organised a Blood Donation Camp in the school premises.


A total of 142 units of blood were collected from parents, faculty and ancillary staff. The camp was organised to meet the rising need of blood for thalassemia patients who require blood transfusions regularly. Apeejay School, Pitampura remains an active participant in arranging such community service initiatives from time to time. Mr. Suresh Gupta and Mr. Ashok Bharti from the Rotary Club, Delhi Midtown appreciated the organising skills of the members of the Interact Club of the school. The initiative helped the Interactors to feel the ‘Joy of Giving’- the selfless act of giving.
