New Delhi, September 28, 2013: The Interact Club of the School, in association with the Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi, organised a Blood Donation Camp in the school premises.
A total of 123 units of blood were collected from parents, faculty and the ancillary staff. The camp was organised to meet the rising need of blood for thalassemia patients who require blood transfusions regularly. The School remains an active participant in arranging such community service initiatives from time to time which have served as a major support to the sick people of the society in emergent situations. This event helped the Interactors to feel the ‘Joy of Giving’ – The selfless act of giving.
