New Delhi, May 10, 2014: Prajit Badhuria of Class IX C, a student of the Astronomy Club, had taken the photograph of planet Saturn on the day of Saturn opposition which means when the position of planet Saturn is just opposite to the Sun.

The ringed planet was at its closest approach to Earth and its face was fully illuminated by the Sun which makes it the best time to view and photograph Saturn and its moons. Saturn's rings and a few of its brightest moons were visible through a medium-sized telescope. It was a great learning experience.
