Delhi, Nov 1, 2021: Interact Club of Apeejay School, Pitampura initiated the 'Say No To Crackers' campaign on 1st November 2021 for the students of classes III to VIII. The interactors stressed the importance of celebrating Diwali safely. Through interactive and fun activities, they convinced the children how harmful crackers are.

A lively presentation of Nukkad Natak taught the children about the ill effects of crackers on the human body and surroundings.

The Interact Club volunteers had been working on this campaign for many days with zeal and enthusiasm. They also talked about the Green Diwali. They highlighted the harmful effects of toxic chemicals like phosphorus and ammonium nitrate on old people and newborn babies.

The young interactors feel that if we sensitize the children about the importance of the environment at a tender age, then they can become the champions of climate change.
