Club Activities

The Interact club of the school initiated skin check- up camp to check for leprosy among the residents of Godhuli, a school for slum children. This year, the Interactors also distributed liquid soap, toothpaste and tooth brushes for maintaining personal hygiene under our WINS initiative. Our Interactors regularly visit Godhuli, to engage the under privileged children in various learning activities like teaching them Phonetics through interactive activities, origami, simple mathematics, personal hygiene etc.

The students of the Interact Club took on the responsibility of spreading awareness about an important social cause to donate their woollens through the social campaign “EzeeHugs” initiated by HT-Pace, Goonj and Godrej.

BUDDY PROGRAMME

Students of class XII contributed in the Buddy Programme initiated this year as part of our remedial teaching programme. Each student of class XII taught the weak students of Primary school for four days, after school from 2:15p.m. to 3:00 p.m. They were graded for their efforts, contributing to their Work Experience. It was a highly successful effort on both the sides, as the students of class XII felt a sense of accomplishment while the students of Primary school benefitted by their efforts. We plan to continue this initiative in the next session too.

New Delhi, August 29, 2018: The Interact Club, in association with the Road Safety Department, Delhi, organised a Road Safety Workshop for the students of classes VIII and IX. Mr Sangvaan shared several facts seeking cooperation in averting road accidents and saving precious lives. The three types of road signs & various signals were demonstrated and wonderfully explained to the students. These demonstrations were carried out through songs and presentations.
