Awareness Program on Child Health
“Encouraging children to live a healthy lifestyle is something we should take very seriously.”
New Delhi, August 28, 2021: The School’s Interact Club initiated a session to address certain health conditions which are becoming common in children, especially during this pandemic. To address these issues, we had Dr. Richa Arora Agarwal with us who is a consultant paediatric endocrinologist in Fortis Hospital and Jaipur Golden Hospital. She busted many myths about the ideal height, weight, and many more things. While delivering her talk, she also threw light on the increasing obesity rate which is becoming very common nowadays. She touched upon the cause, the prevention, and the cure of this problem. This interactive session lasted for one hour. The parents asked a lot of questions as they were concerned about their child’s health. Dr. Richa answered their questions very well and the parents were satisfied with the answers.
