Club Activities

The students of the Interact Club took on the responsibility of spreading awareness about an important social cause to donate their woollens through the social campaign “EzeeHugs” initiated by HT-Pace, Goonj and Godrej.

Students of class XII contributed in the Buddy Programme initiated this year as part of our remedial teaching programme. Each student of class XII taught the weak students of Primary school for four days, after school from 2:15p.m. to 3:00 p.m. They were graded for their efforts, contributing to their Work Experience. It was a highly successful effort on both the sides, as the students of class XII felt a sense of accomplishment while the students of Primary school benefitted by their efforts. We plan to continue this initiative in the next session too.

New Delhi, May 7, 2018: A Legal Literacy Session was conducted for the students of Class IX on the topic ‘POSCO Act – Prevention of Child Sexual Offences’. The resource person for the session was Judge Ruchika Singla.

New Delhi, April 26, 2018: The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Pitampura, in association with the Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi, organised a Blood Donation Camp in the School premises.

A total of 46 units of blood was collected from parents, faculty and ancillary staff. The Camp was organised to meet the rising need of blood for patients. Apeejay School, Pitampura remains an active participant in arranging such community service initiatives from time to time. The parents and all the staff members participated in the Camp enthusiastically.

The event helped the Interactors to feel the ‘Joy of Giving’ - the selfless act of giving.
