New Delhi, April 2019: Kritii Nagpal from Class IX of Apeejay School, Pitampura, has been selected as the Scholarship Awardee in ‘Play and Progress Scheme’ of the Delhi Govt. for her achievements in the Karate Game. Kritii will be getting a scholarship of Rs 1, 90, 000/- per year for three consecutive years. She has got Rs 1, 42, 500/-, the first part of this scholarship, for the financial year 2018-19, and will get the balance amount very soon.

Prabhav Gupta of Class VIII C of Apeejay School, Pitampura, has been selected as the Scholarship Awardee in ‘Play and Progress Scheme’ of the Delhi Govt. for her achievements in Table Tennis. He will be getting a scholarship of Rs 1, 90, 000/- per year for three consecutive years. He has got Rs 1, 42, 500/-, the first part of this scholarship for the financial year 2018-19, and will get the balance amount very soon.

Sri Lanka, April 2019: Roch Jain of Class III A participated in the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2019, held at Waskaduwa, Sri Lanka. He won a gold medal for India in the ‘Under 8’ category. Congratulations to the little champ! Keep winning accolades for the country!

New Delhi, Jan. 16, 2019: Rhythm Thapa of Class VI has won the 3rd position in the 17th Delhi International Open Grandmasters Chess Tournament, in the Delhi Girls’ Category. The event was organised at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, from 9th January to 16th January 2019. Rhythm has been awarded with a Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-.
