A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.

The Orientation Programme was started with a prayer as we believe efforts blessed by the almighty are always successful. Apeejay Education has been a name to be reckoned whose aspiration lies in quality education. So, they held an online Orientation Programme - an initiative taken by the school through Zoom cloud meeting to stay connected with the parents and students.

The Orientation Programme was addressed by the Principal, Ms Ritu Mehta. Among other things, the parents were acknowledged about how Management is always working towards the students’ safety and security. The School Management has always supported holistic development for their students thereby, they have brought in various co-curricular activities for students. The teachers for the session were also introduced to the parents.

The Orientation Programme was summed up by thanking the parents for their presence in the Zoom session and supporting the initiative of online teaching by the Management.

A special assembly on Janamashtami was conducted wherein the children presented a splendid skit on the theme ‘Kaalias of Today’. Students presented news in relevance to today's pandemic and teachings of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita holding in Sanskrit shlokas and dances to celebrate the fervour of Krishna Janmashtami. The entire celebration was embraced by the Principal of the School, Ms Ritu Mehta, and Pre-primary In-charge, Ms Shalini Kaul wherein they encouraged the children for their endless efforts for making virtual teaching a blissful platform to showcase versatility.

Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, and its Pre-Primary & Primary Department initiated a great virtual gaming station for parents to slacken themselves of the lockdown and enjoy the excitement created by TAMBOLA, HOUSIE, or BINGO with a twine of mathematics in it. Numbers were chased and gazed with a mathematical intervention of queries that were to be solved by the parents to strike the number on their ticket.

MATHEMATICAL TAMBOLA perfectly collaborated with the virtual world through ZOOM where all the parents connected and made perfect usage of the platform with an ace as the chatbox became a category claiming counter and the teachers became the virtual invigilators helping them take a step forward towards their victory.

The other team worked towards strengthening the social bond of hospitality and connect with ease through thrilling riddles that were promptly answered and reveled by the parents as they took no time in accepting that the session refreshed them thoroughly. The cherry on the cake was the melodious song sung by a teacher making the session and game more exuberant.
