Christmas Celebration with Slum Children and Distribution of Gifts and Refreshments
Our Interactors celebrated Christmas with the children from the nearby Jagdamba Camp. The morning began with the children being taught some Christmas carols. They played musical chairs and also danced merrily later, gifts and refreshments were distributed to them.
Nurturing of greenery is the best way to make children realize the importance of protecting plants. When they are made to look after “their” trees, they develop a sense of belongingness and go out of the way to see that no harm comes to the plants.
Our Interactors planted and adopted trees fighting the war against global warming. The group members are in charge of the welfare of the plants.

Dental Check Up For Project Naman Senior Citizens
Club arranged a Dental van for the senior citizens under the project NAMAN.
The president of the senior citizens club had put up notices on various notice boards of the colony to inform the residents about this facility.
The response was quite encouraging. On the way back to school our Interactors generated awareness among the local cobbler, dhobi, and the vegetable vendors to also get their dental check up done.
This is now a monthly activity. The Dental van visits the senior citizens in every 4th Saturday of the month.
