New Delhi, October 2014: A special assembly, based on the theme of 'Hindi Diwas', was presented by Class V C in the school auditorium. The occasion was graced by Dr. Divik Ramesh, Ex-Principal, Motilal Nehru College, Delhi University who was the chief guest for the occasion. The lightening of the ceremonial diya was followed by the Ganesha Vandana.

Students took part with great zeal and enthusiasm as they presented a song, dance, skit and few Hasya Kavitain. They also dressed up as eminent poets from the world of Hindi literature as they recited their famous poems. The School Principal, in his address, highlighted the importance of Hindi language as our national language, among other things. Dr. Divik Ramesh also urged students to enhance their vocabulary and language. The programme was a grand success.


New Delhi, October 21, 2014: Class II B conducted a special assembly on the special occasion of Diwali, the beautiful festival of lights and showcased how to enjoy its purity without causing harm to others. The programme started with the news headlines, followed by the thought of the day and a talk on why Diwali is celebrated. The message of celebrating pollution free Diwali, spreading happiness and love was conveyed through a skit presented by the students. There was also a computer presentation, followed by a well-coordinated dance which mesmerised the audience and a group song that was sung with great gusto. To conclude the assembly, the School Principal and staff were invited to perform the aarti.


New Delhi, October 17, 2014: Class V D presented an assembly to pay tribute to the 'Father of the Nation', Mahatma Gandhi. The students presented a skit on Gandhi Ji's contribution to uplift the Harijans as he believed that we all are the children of God. Students also sang Gandhi Ji’s favourite bhajan, ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram....’ and presented a dance drama to praise his struggle for peace & freedom.


New Delhi, October 15, 2014: Zina Arora from NIE conducted workshops, from Oct. 13-Oct. 15, 2014, on 'Candle Decoration' for the NIE members of classes III, IV & V. The children brought the decoration material and candles from their homes & decorated them beautifully as trained by the resource person of the workshop. It was a learning and enjoyable experience for the students.

New Delhi, October 7, 2014: Founder's Day was celebrated in the school auditorium wherein shradhanjali was offered to beloved Dr. Stya Paul, Founder President, Apeejay Education Society. A message from Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, the daughter & only child of Dr. Stya Paul and President of Apeejay Education Society was also read by the School Principal. Bhajans were sung by the students of the Primary and Pre-Primary department.
