International Children's Film Festival
New Delhi, Nov. 15, 2016: Students from Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park participated in the 10th International Children’s Film Festival, organised by ‘CHINH’, as members of the Jury. The students judged ‘Aai’ and ‘Eclipse’ as the best films for the Gold and Silver medals respectively. Held between 9th - 15th Nov. 2016 at the India Habitat Centre, the Event was an enriching experience for the students as they interacted with the international members of the Jury as well.
Annual Appreciation Day: Primary Wing
New Delhi, Feb. 20, 2016: Primary Wing’s Annual Appreciation Day, themed ‘Aarohan – Quest for Success', was held in the School wherein more than 650 children participated in this programme showcasing their talents. The programme was graced by two eminent guests,Ms. Anuradha Balaram, IES, Adviser, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India and Mr.PichkhunPanha, Ambassador of Cambodia. Students were awarded and appreciated for their meritorious performance in various scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
Grandparents’ Day Out
New Delhi, Dec. 5, 2015: A day out for the grandparents was organised for the grandparents of the students of classes I & II and Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld. Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education Society also participated as grandparent in the fun-filled activities like Musical Chairs, Races and Dance Competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. The grandparents who came first, second and third were awarded on the occasion. The best dressed grandmother and grandfather were also awarded.
Adventure Camp at Aravalli Hills
Haryana, December 6, 2014: The overnight camps for classes IV and V were held from December 4 to December 6, 2014 at Camp Wild Dhauj. The adventure camp comprised outdoor activities attended by students and class teachers. The students were divided into groups for the adventure activities and were allotted huts for their stay. They enjoyed activities like Burma Bridge, Cat Walk in the Air, Beam Balancing, Commando Net, Commando Crawl, Flying Fox, Repelling, Zorbing, Tarzan Swing, Monkey Crawl, etc. The highlight of the camp was the bonfire and DJ. It was an exciting camp full of adventure and fun for the students who had the experience of spending a night away from home.
New Delhi, December 2014: This year, the much awaited camp at the school started at 8.30 am and went on till 4.00 pm. The children were divided into different teams wherein each team participated in a number of activities like tent pitching, river crossing, rappelling and crossing over hurdles. Students also enjoyed eating together in a group. In the afternoon, a magical show was organised which was also the highlight of the day. This was followed by a game called Treasure Hunt. To conclude, students danced to the tunes of Bollywood songs. It was an incredible and one of the most enjoyable camps.
