New Delhi, June 11, 2021: The Korean Language Certificate Distribution Ceremony for Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park of Class VIII was organised on 11th June 2021. The distinguished guests on the occasion were Ms Ritu Mehta, Principal, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, Ms Shalini Agarwal, Vice Principal, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, and Ms SeongJa Kim, Korean Language Instructor, Korean Culture Center.

Ms Ritu Mehta and Ms Shalini Agarwal addressed the students, exhorted them to do well in life, and congratulated them on achieving this important milestone.

10 students completed their 30-hour Korean language certificate course. The event was a great success as it evinced the enthusiastic participation of all, including students. Ms Harjeet Kaur anchored the certificate distribution ceremony.

New Delhi, June 7, 2021: Every member of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, paid homage to the esteemed and revered Founder Chairman, Dr Stya Paul ji on his 11th Punya Tithi.

The memorial ceremony commenced with lamp lighting, floral offering, and invocation. It was followed by chanting of some of his favourite soul-stirring bhajans. The devotional songs created a perfect ambiance to emotionally connect and cherish the loving memories of Dr. Stya Paul ji.

Ms Ritu Mehta, Principal, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, illustrated the accomplishments of the legendary educationist. She vividly evinced the selfless contribution made by him in man-making and nation-building.

Dr V.S.Garg, Education Advisor, Apeejay Education, who had walked some of his life's journey alongside Dr.Stya Paul ji, reminisced many fascinating stories about Sir's attitude towards life.

The sacred vibrations emitting from the melodious hymns wrapped all present with divine energy.

Dr Stya Paul’s life's work and achievements and the lasting legacy of excellence that he has left behind will continue to inspire & guide us in all our endeavours.

New Delhi, June 2, 2021: A virtual orientation program was conducted for the students of Class XI on 2nd June 2021 to induct them into different streams of the senior secondary school. Ms. Ritu Mehta, Principal, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, addressed the gathering by emphasising the School’s commitment towards imparting quality education, leading to man-making and nation-building.

School Vice Principal, Ms. Shalini Agarwal, apprised the students with the curriculum, different streams and subjects offered, changes in CBSE pattern with emphasis on Competency-Based Education, conduct of practical exams, internal assessments, and resources provided by the school for the young learners. She further laid out the guidelines of virtual schooling concerning netiquettes, decorum, discipline, and class attendance.

Later on, Ms Jyotsana Madan, Academic Coordinator, also reiterated the importance of Moodle, explained the assessment methodology, and laid special stress on the promotion policy of the School.

The webinar received an overwhelming response from both parents and students.

Korean Cultural Center India announces registration for its online ‘6th Korea–India Friendship Quiz Competition’. Students from classes VII to XII were invited to participate from India. 58 students of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, participated in the first level and received participation certificates.

The purpose of the competition is to introduce the culture, traditions, cuisine, and general knowledge about The Republic of Korea to Indian students and help strengthen the Korea–India friendship. The top 4 winners will win a victory trip to Korea.

Seeing the growing interest of youth in Korean content, this year the contest will be held in 6 regions from 25 cities in 3 levels:

  • Level 1: Individual-level online tests on quiz website
  • Level 2: City-level quizzes on video conference
  • Level 3: National-level quizzes on video conference

In Level 1, each student will get two attempts at the test, which will be timed for each player. In each school, the student with the highest score in the shortest time will be declared the winner and will qualify for Level 2 – the city quiz round, which will be conducted from 12th June to 23rd July 2021. The winners of Level 2 will compete in the National semi finale round(s) on 26th and 27th July. The then winners of semi finale(s) will participate in the national grand finale on 30th July 2021. The top 4 winners will get a free trip to South Korea.

Each child is an artist with a gift of unique talent. It is harnessing that talent that nurtures the future of the world.

New Delhi, May 2021: It is with this aim that Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, held a colourful and exuberant online event. - 'Indradhanush - A Melange of Colours' to showcase the innate talent of students. As part of this endeavour, participants from each house contested in various events - Umang-Dance Competition, Instrumental-Dil Ki Dhun/ Saaz ki Awaaz, Indian Vocal-Sur Sangam, Western Vocal-Harmony of Colours/Sing For Souls (Live in Harmony), Sanskriti – Quiz Competition, Fluorescence-The Art of Flowering/ Swachtha Hi Sewa-Art Competition, Poetry Recitation-Restore Our Earth, Alive Gaming, Immuno-boosters/ Food Carving-Culinary Competition and Sanskrit Shloka Gayan Competition. The event saw an overwhelming response as around 240 participants keenly contested for the top slots in various contests.

The excitement of participants from classes VI to XII was palpable as students put their best foot forward even while being confined in their homes and competed in various events on 17th and 18th May 2021.

Students delved into the heritage of India quizzing on its various aspects, showcased their synchronised moves, plated salads for boosting immunity- which is the need of the hour. Whether it was debating, display of artistic skill, or musical talent, each participant dazzled the stage with their stupendous performance.

The esteemed panel of judges including Ms. Alka Bahl, Retired Principal, NDMC School; renowned artist, Mr. Ganga Narayan Maharana, Ms. Sugandha Gumber (Assistant Professor, Amity University), Ms. Eashana Arora, Mr. Yuvraj Maurya (Delhi Public School, Mathura Road), among others greatly applauded the skillful performance of students.

In the Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 21st May 2021, the School Principal applauded the students' efforts and said that healthy competition will provide students with a new source of confidence. The Vice Principal saluted the spirit of positivity that motivated each participant. The Chief Guest of the event, Padma Shri awardee Pratibha Prahlad, a Bharata Natyam dancer said that cultural events help children reach their full potential. She said that apart from giving self-confidence, art gives students critical thinking skills. The winners of various contests were awarded e-certificates.
