New Delhi, Feb 2021: The Interact Club at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, launched the campaign ‘Ahsaas’ through a video to create awareness about mental health, especially among teenagers on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.
Mental health looks different for every single person. The way depression or anxiety affects one person’s routine life might be different from the way it affects others. What might be a coping mechanism for one could be a triggering factor for another.
Only half of those affected receive treatment, often because of the stigma attached to mental health.
Nonetheless, the one thing that we can do is talk to someone, let our hearts out. Let our voices be heard. We, as a society just need to be a bit aware, not hesitate to ask questions or express how we feel.
Let’s come together and fight this stigma attached to mental health!
