New Delhi, May 30, 2022:Students of classes VI A and B presented a thought-provoking assembly on ‘Clean India’. The assembly began with a mesmerising dance performance (Ganesh Vandana). The purpose was to engage students’ attention and reiterate the significance of “Aao badhaye ek kadam swachta ki aur (आओ बढ़ाए एक कदम स्वच्छता की ओर!)” and to inculcate cleanliness as a discipline.

The assembly consisted of news, students singing songs and performing a skit to spread awareness. They pledged to ensure cleanliness. The assembly concluded with Vice Principal, Ms Shalini Aggarwal’s address.

To create awareness among the students, Sadhguru’s ‘Save Soil Movement’ had collaborated with the CBSE. Keeping this in mind, the ‘CBSE Awareness Campaign’, was conducted on 10th May 2022 at the school. The purpose was to develop the sensitivity in young students to conserve Soil and Nature.

Save Soil is a global movement launched by Sadhguru, to address the Soil Crisis by bringing together people to stand up for Soil Health. It supports leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions to increase the organic content in cultivable Soil.

Students from classes VI-XII actively participated in writing Poems, Slogans and Poster making. All the participants pledged to create awareness and spread the word.

New Delhi, May 04, 2022:In an exuberant display of academic rigour, sporting acumen, and creative talent, the school students from primary to senior wing received prizes in various categories in a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 4 May 2022 in the school auditorium.

School Principal Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria, and Ms. Ritu Mehta, Director, Apeejay Education, graced the occasion and distributed prizes to the astounding achievers of the session 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.

The tiny tots of the primary wing mesmerized one and all and spread the colors of joy through their scintillating dance performances, bringing the world at their feet through Japanese, Arabic and Spanish dances.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Rakesh Asthana, Delhi Police Commissioner, interacted with about 50,000 women from 1,784 police beats across the city through a hybrid platform 'Tarangini'. This was the first-ever interaction of the commissioner with women on such a large scale, through video-conferencing, to discuss their concerns. Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, also joined this event along with school teachers and senior students through the online platform.

New Delhi, Feb 2022: Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, participated in the Veer Gatha Project, an initiative of CBSE and National Progressive Schools’ Conference to raise awareness about the brave acts and sacrifices of the Gallantry Award winners among the students. This unique project was launched to inspire the school children of our country with the stories of war heroes, brave hearts, and it elicited a tremendous response from all over the country.

Our students of classes VI to XI participated in the project with heartfelt enthusiasm. The students were happy to get this opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed researching and knowing about the heroic deeds of the gallantry award winners.

The projects were interdisciplinary. Students expressed their admiration for the unique gallantry displayed by our men in uniform through slogans, paintings, poetry, and multimedia presentations.
