Middle & Senior - Events

The School organized a Vidai Samaroh for the outgoing Class XII on February 5, 2011. Mr. Manish Kapoor, HR Executive, American Express, was the Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of courage and perseverance in life in his highly motivational speech. In a solemn ceremony, the Chief Guest lighted a candle and passed it on to the Head Boy and the Head Girl who eventually passed the light, symbolizing knowledge, to all the other students of Classes XII and XI.

Force Fest

Apeejay School Sheikh Sarai hosted the Annual Force Fest, organized by the Computer department, on 6-7 May 2011. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Aditya Vijay Berlia, Pro Chancellor & Co-Founder, Apeejay Stya University, Member, Management Board, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Founder & President, Apeejay Stya Education Research Foundation, Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education Society.

Mr. Aditya Berlia shared with the students his national and international experiences in the field of IT. He urged students to enhance their technical knowledge, to stay abreast of latest updates, to join good fraternity groups of their interest and to read inspiring literature. He explained to the students the importance of cloud computing. Interacting with the students, he emphasized on the need to learn and share new technology. The Principal, Mr. A.P. Sharma, reiterated the fact that India should retain its top slot position in the field of IT and encouraged the students to work harder to reach the pinnacle of success. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation of many schools of the NCR in events like Webageddon (Web Designing), Digitanalyze(Quiz), Slide-o-Rock(Powerpoint presentation), Automatronix(Robotics), Cine Rock (Movie Making), Cyber Combat (Gaming), Logic Den with VB and LOGO (Programming). Out of the 35 participating schools, Mont Fort School was adjudged the overall Winner, while Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, received the Runners-up trophy.

Visit To President House

Interactors Ridhi Sharma, Katrazyna and Remya Raj along with Principal Mr. A.P.Sharma and Interact club In-charge Ms. Sarika Sharma presented a pledge to the President Mrs. Pratibha Patil. The pledge was signed by students of various schools where they pledged to save 60 million litres of water every year, through sensible actions like making their homes leak free and judicious use of water in their daily life.
