New Delhi, November, 20 2022: Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, was honoured to be invited on the occasion of Children's Day celebrations, organised by UNICEF India, at South Delhi's Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium.

The students had a great time with celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar and Ayushmann Khurrana. They both played football with the budding athletes representing different teams for UNICEF India.

UNICEF, Sachin Tendulkar, and Ayushmann Khurrana among others, came together to take the message of inclusivity and non-discrimination and celebrate a better future for every child.

New Delhi, November, 11 2022: District Interact Leadership Assembly (DILA) 2022 of Rotary District 3011 was inaugurated by DG Rtn Ashok Kantoor at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi on 11 November 2022.

The event was graced by various distinguished Rotarians, Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria, Principal, Apeejay School Panchsheel Park and Mr N.N. Nayyar, Senior Education Officer, Apeejay Education.The event was attended by a whopping number of 700 Interactors along with their teacher in-charges from schools across Delhi/NCR.

The Chief Guest for the event was Swami Prem Parivartan, popularly known as Peepal Baba, an ardent environmentalist who along with his team has planted over 20 million trees in 202 districts across 18 states in India. He spoke at length on the conservation of trees and the importance of leadership skills for preserving planet Earth.

Further, a panel discussion where the panelists comprising District Governor- Rtn. Ashok Kantoor, Eminent Educationist- Dr. D.K. Pandey, Actress- Sayali Bhagat and Hiya Jain, a member of Interact Advisory Council had a comprehensive discussion on the topic 'Imagine a better tomorrow'.

The programme also touched upon some pertinent issues like water conservation, gender equality and inclusiveness and a ban on single-use plastic. It also incorporated different activities like Poster-Making Competition and Nukkad Natak. The Interact Club of our school bagged the second position in Poster- Making competition in which they displayed and explained a wide range of activities that they conducted in the past months. The programme finally came to its culmination with the Interactors feeling invigorated after the seeds of thought were sowed in their minds for a better tomorrow to germinate and blossom.

New Delhi, November, 01 2022: To promote the spirit of creativity, innovation and talent, Forum of Radical Computer Experts (FORCE), a club of computer wizards at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, recently organised an Inter-School Computer Symposium, “FORCE FEST 2022.”

FORCE has been a successful endeavour of the school since decades. The fest is organised yearly to encourage the technological know-how of students and enrich their talents. The exciting events over two-days challenged and chiselled the skills of the students.

The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Vikash Jaiswal, Director, PWC India. He, along with the School’s Principal, Mr. Sandeep Singh Kathuria, and other judges, lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the beginning of the two-day fest. The chief guest motivated students and advised them to embrace difficulties and believe in their skills and declared the fest open for students!”

The fest included events such as Web Designing, Console Gaming, Robo-wars, Photography, Animation, Movie-making, Programming, Quiz and App Development, just to mention a few. The two- day Symposium culminated with the closing ceremony in which Apeejay School, Noida, bagged the winner’s trophy and Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram, bagged the runner-up Trophy.

New Delhi, October, 31 2022: Our students recently participated in a ‘Run for Unity’ conducted by the District Administration South, GNCTD, New Delhi on the eve of Unity Day- Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. As many as 15 NCC boys and 18 NCC girl cadets along with their ANOs Second Officer Chandrashekhar Sharma Second Officer Ira Chaudhary and Mr. Mahesh Kumar participated enthusiastically.

Children from different schools went to Asola Wildlife Sanctuary for the run. An oath was also administered to protect the integrity of India. The program concluded with a motivating speech and presentation of certificates by the District Magistrate South to preserve the unity and integrity of India.

New Delhi, October, 29 2022: Students of Classes VII to IX were taken to Vishalgarh Farms on 29 October 2022. It is located in the lap of nature in Aravalli. It is spread across a sprawling 16-acre farm in an idyllic location equipped with food, fun, adventure and relaxation.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the live music and experienced various thrilling activities such as Puppet Show, Zipline, Rope Climbing and other low rope courses. Moreover, the students experienced a rich representation of Rajasthani culture and cuisine ranging from dancing to fun filled-games. The students made many memorable memories at Vishalgarh farms.
