New Delhi, August 28, 2019: Investiture Ceremony (Prefectorial Board) is one of the most important and traditional ceremonies of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, and is eagerly awaited by the school administration, teachers, and student body of the School. It rekindles our trust and confidence that we repose in our newly elected Prefectorial Board. Being a prefect is not just about holding a post but it's also about fulfilling various responsibilities and ensuring welfare by conducting various workshops and maintaining the discipline of the school. The selection process of the Prefectorial Board comprises various stages. Firstly, a Group Discussion took place in the august presence of the School Principal, and carefully selected students were then called for an Interview. During their interview, their communication skills were tested. The Chief Guests, Dr Sanjay K. Dhurandher, an alumnus of the school and newly elected head boy & head girl lighted the ceremonial diya. Last year's prefects were present to hand over the charge to the newly elected Prefectorial Board. The School Principal encouraged the students for performing their duties well. The Chief Guest enlightened the students with respect to the true meaning of leadership and the quality of a good leader. The newly elected Prefectorial Board members took a pledge to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules & regulations of the school. They also signed the charter of duty made by the Prefectorial Board.

New Delhi, August 11, 2019: Model United Nations is an educational simulation and an academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park hosted the third edition of its annual Model United Conference (MUN), CRUX MUN on August 10 & August 11, 2019.

The event was graced by Chief Guest, Mr K.G. Suresh, Emeritus Professor, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, and Ms Charumati Haran, our illustrious school alumni. The Programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial diya amongst the chanting of shlokas, followed by Shiv Vandana. CRUX MUN was declared open on August 10, 2019, by the Chief Guest. All the committees documented their debate discussions under the guidance of the Executive Board of each committee. After the opening ceremony, the venues for the conferences were announced and the delegates proceeded for the same.

CRUX MUN involves and teaches researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. The host team of CRUX MUN 2019 had been working effortlessly for the past few months to make the event successful. The event included the following committees: UNSC, UNGA, UNFCCC, ECOSOC, AIPPM, RAW, and HRC. In the conference, agendas were discussed, opening statements and GSL were given. There were healthy debates and discussions amongst the delegates of various countries. The crisis was introduced in the committees and the delegates tackled the problems presented to them on-the-spot. This developed problem solving and communication skills.

It was a great day for everyone including the delegates, the Editorial Board members, and everyone who was involved in the proceedings. The second day of the event began with serious discussions and debates on global issues. The members of the Conventional and Non-Conventional Committees participated enthusiastically. The event came to an end after felicitating the students with Best Delegate, Special Mention, High Recommendation, and Verbal Mention Awards. The Principal congratulated the students for their earnest efforts and appreciated the Organising Committee for making the event a grand success.

New Delhi, May 14, 2018: An enriching and collaborative workshop on DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue Française) courses in French language was held at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, by Monsieur Olivier Litvine, Attaché for cooperation in French Language, Embassy of France in India. French teachers of other Apeejay Schools in Delhi and NCR also participated in the event which was graced by eminent dignitaries and guests.

The Workshop was an initiative to highlight the significance of French language as the prospective second most important international language. Addressing a gathering of nearly 400 students, Mr. Litvine gave a presentation on DELF and DALF programmes, elaborating their salient features and future prospects. He exhorted the students to enrol in this course which will help them to secure admission in universities directly.

The presentation was followed by a question-answer session in which students asked questions about various aspects of this program.

In a collaborative initiative, the Apeejay Education and the Embassy of France intend to give a platform to students all across the country to acquire skills in French language.

New Delhi, Sep. 24, 2017: Soumil Narula of Class VI D represented Apeejay School and won a Silver medal and a Bronze medal in 300 mts. & 500 mts. race respectively in the 26th Jagdeep Singh Memorial Roller Skating Championship organised by the Delhi Roller Skating Association, held at Himalaya Public School.
