At Apeejay School, we believe in nurturing the overall personality of our children and fostering their holistic growth. 'Summer Holiday Homework Presentation Program' was organised for the young learners of the Primary Wing, from June 13 to June 17, 2020. It was a fun-filled endeavour to explore their hidden talent and give wings to their creativity. Encompassing all the subjects’ presentations - English, Hindi, Maths, Social Studies, Science, and Computer - the program provided an enjoyable platform to the children to showcase their artistic abilities and oratory skills.

  • At Apeejay School, we empower our learners to innovate, create, & discover their true potential. Our learning process engages head, heart, and hands or thinking, feeling, and doing. In furtherance of this vision, the students presented their Summer Holiday Homework on the theme ‘Health and Hygiene’ that was very apt for the current scenario. Children have made beautiful collages and hangings on the topic. They have displayed their work with excitement and expressed their feelings about it.

  • Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park believes that every child is a creator. Buzzing with excitement, the children presented their Holiday Homework with full enthusiasm and zeal. Let’s open the door of the real world for our children and teach them the THINGS THAT MATTER!

  • Actual learning is delightful like a new skill. At Apeejay, we believe learning can never be locked up. When schools and families work together, children have a far better chance of not only being successful in school but also in all aspects of life. The prevalent situation further demands mentors and parents to work collectively, resolve, motivate, and engage the learners in fruitful learning experiences. Keeping the current situation in mind, the Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park gave the ‘Health and Hygiene’ theme to the children of Class IV. Children prepared diet charts, exercise charts, health, and hygiene parameters. In Summer Holiday Presentation Program, children displayed their work and gave the message to the world to be united, fit, and healthy.

  • As it is rightly said that a good life is a collection of happy moments. These moments were well-created through the Summer Holiday Homework presentation at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, wherein Class V students presented their Summer Holiday work. Children were happy and excited to display their work in front of the class. Children made various diet charts and presentations about being fit during the COVID-19 situation. What an exciting, enriching, and awesome experience!

‘Krishna Janmashtami' celebration was organised in the Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, through an assembly as well as through expressing feelings of this festival through Madhubani paintings. Madhubani art (or Mithila painting) is a style of Indian painting practiced in the Mithila region of the Indian subcontinent. This painting is done with a variety of tools including fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks and by using natural dyes and pigments. Children drew Krishna, Radha, Gopis, and Gwalas to express their love to celebrate this festival. Through their stupendous work, they wished that may this Janmashtami bring good luck and immense happiness to all.

New Delhi, July 30, 2020: To inculcate moral values and encourage the importance of mother tongue ‘Hindi’ among students, Hindi Doha Vachan activity was conducted at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park.
Students recited dohas of famous poets and writers, namely - Surdas, Kabirdas, Rahimdas, Tulsidas, Bihari, and others with great spontaneity & ease. The participants displayed wonderful expression skills while explaining and referring to the context of the dohas.

The computer holiday homework was designed to make the children aware and use their digital skills by designing posters, checklists, and presentations using MS-Paint, Word Editor, and PowerPoint software. Students of Class II designed images on Rainy season using the advanced tools learnt in the class. Grade III prepared a checklist that can help battle poor hygiene in smarter ways by identifying the areas where they can improvise their hygiene routine to stay healthy. Students of classes IV and V learnt coding in LOGO. They designed beautiful Board Games based on Turtle Graphics.

An enriching and experiential learning activity of making a pollutant detector was organised in Class III (EVS class). The students made a pollutant detector with the help of paper plates, ribbon, and petroleum jelly. The students were able to make this detector at home after giving them instructions. Everyone enjoyed doing this activity.
