Delhi, March 14, 2021: Wushu or Chinese Kungfu has a long history of Chinese martial arts. It was developed in 1949 to standardize the practice of traditional Chinese Martial Arts. The North West District Wushu Association organised the 18th Delhi State Wushu Championship at Aadarsh Senior Secondary School G.T. Road Libaspur, Delhi, on 13th and 14th March 2021. Tejveer, a student of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, brought accolades by securing the Bronze medal in the Sub-Junior category (45 kgs).
Sports are an integral part of education process and the School encourages various sports with a firm belief that mental and physical fitness are complementary to each other. Our School gives sports scholarships of Rs 5000/- each sponsored by our alumni for outstanding performance in various games and sports.

- PINKATHON, India’s Biggest Women’s Run is an initiative of United Sister Foundation which aims at empowering women and encouraging them to take control of their health. 15 students from our School participated in the 3km PINKATHON held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
