Noida, February 15, 2021: Apeejay School, Noida felicitated its academic achievers of classes VI-VIII for the session 2019-20 through the online platform on February 15, 2021.

Appreciation Day is a much-awaited event in every student’s life as it gives the returns to the efforts put in by them throughout the academic year. It gives a sense of achievement and new vigour to work for new goals.

Apeejay School, Noida has always worked in the direction of fostering and nurturing the students to achieve incogitable goals. The School has tried to create an environment where learners get inimitable guidance from an exceptional group of educators.

The function began with a mesmerising bhajan followed by felicitation of the highest in aggregate and subject toppers. The inspirational talk by Shreya Bhatia touched the right chords. She reminded everyone that success demands hard work, patience, and commitment. It is not granted overnight. It is rather a long steady process. Vice-Principal, Ms Amrita Hajela, exhorted students to keep working towards their goals as success is not a full stop.

The programme culminated with the rendition of the National Anthem.

Apeejay School, Noida celebrated the 72nd Republic Day with immense patriotic fervour and zeal through an online platform. A plethora of activities were organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students.

The students of the Pre-Primary Wing made an Indian tricolour flag as a craft activity. They also decorated a corner in the house with tricolour balloons and eco-friendly rangoli. The students were also sensitised about the National Bravery Awards which are given to kids from all over India for their meritorious acts of bravery.

The students of the Primary Department presented soulful songs and dance to celebrate the monumental day. They were shown informative videos, reiterating the importance of the Drafting Committee headed by Dr B.R. Ambedkar.

The students of the Middle & Senior Departments presented videos showcasing the history and significance of Republic Day followed by a motivational talk highlighting the duties & rights of citizens. A Poetry Writing Competition was also organised for the students of classes VI-IX to commemorate the Republic Day.

School Principal, Mr AK Sharma and Vice Principal, Mrs Amrita Hajela inspired the students with their motivational words and told all the students to abide by the constitution of their motherland and fulfill all their duties as responsible citizens. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
