English Declamation Competition
Noida, December 26, 2018: Keeping the students abreast with the latest technology, the Primary Department of Apeejay School, Noida, organised an English Declamation Competition for the students of Class V. The Competition aimed to promote the skills of effective 'Public Speaking'. The participants enthusiastically expressed their views on the topic: 'Digital Learning is Changing Schools and Education'. The talented group of participants presented their views which gave us an insight into the pros and cons of technology and digitalisation.
The judges really appreciated the participants and their performance. The Declamation Competition not only encouraged healthy competitive spirit but also left the particpants with food for thought. Results were as follows:

Annual Day Celebration 2018
Noida, December 15, 2018: It was a memorable evening for the Apeejay School, Noida fraternity as it celebrated its Annual Day and felicitated its young achievers. The occasion gained special significance as the School’s parent body, Apeejay Education Society, celebrates its Golden Jubilee this year as well.
The event commenced with a red carpet welcome accorded by the School Band to the Chief Guest, Dr Sonal Mansingh, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, Padma Vibhushan, Mr N.N. Nayyar, Senior Education Officer, Apeejay Education Society, Members & Board of Governors and Principals from Apeejay Stya Schools and alumni.
The guests and proud parents were greeted to the auditorium with melodious symphonies by the School Orchestra. The glittering ceremony began on an auspicious note with the invocation of Lord Shri Krishna.
School Principal, Mr A.K. Sharma, accorded a heartfelt welcome to the guests. In his address, he looked up to the visionary guidance and blessings of the Founder Chairman of Apeejay Education Society, Dr Stya Paul Ji and Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education Society. He presented the Annual School Report chronicling the School’s outstanding achievements. In his address, he emphasised the excellence of education by the School. He quoted from the book ‘Reflections in Time’ – “Success is not a result of chance or luck. It is a result of careful discharge of every duty and hard work.” – to showcase the spirit of Apeejay School and its students.
A number of prizes were given by the distinguished guests, in the scholastic and co-scholastic arenas, to appreciate & applaud the school toppers and talented students for the session 2017-18.
The Chief Guest showered her blessings, love & affection on the students and lauded the efforts & care bestowed by the Management and the School. She reminded the students of Indian values & culture and the need to keep them alive. She shared memories of her school days and exhorted all to actively take part to keep India clean.
Another highlight of the programme was the Dance Drama - ‘Navrasa - A Symphony of Emotions’ - presented by over 700 students, spanning from Class Nursery to the Senior Secondary. It showcased the beauty of Navrasa or emotions that characterise ‘Life’ as well as ‘Art’. It is useful to keep in mind that a rasa includes not just the emotion, but also various aspects that cause that emotion.
After the breathtaking Grand Finale, the day concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the Vice-Principal, Mrs Amrita Hajela.
The auditorium, packed to the capacity, was witness to an evening that they would cherish for long.
