Noida, November 13, 2017: Apeejay School, Noida welcomed 'Knock the Time' (Band from Iran) for a musical rendezvous, as part of the 11th edition of the Delhi International Arts Festival – India’s largest and most prestigious arts festival.

The Band enthralled the audience with a mesmerizing performance. The musical recital was a confluence of the Folk Music from different parts of Iran and reiterated the importance for children to become culturally aware and develop interest in the field of Arts. Students were also apprised about the various musical instruments used in Iran.

Keeping in mind the importance of inter-cultural and international interactions, School Principal, Mr. S.C. Tiwari, encouraged widening of global horizons and reinstated the belief in international curriculum. The School also presented a token of appreciation to the artists, as a symbol of gratitude.

Noida, October 14, 2017: An orientation session was conducted for the parents of Class X in the School Auditorium. The session opened with the School Principal’s address to the parents to provide a stress free and conducive environment for the students for optimum learning.

Parents were acquainted with the rigours of academics as per the remodeled structure of assessment. Stream options available at +2 levels were also informed to the parents.

The session was then open for Q&A and queries from parents were addressed by the Academic Coordinator. Parents were informed regarding the School’s initiative to prepare the students for competitive examinations. Resource person from GoodEd Technologies took the parents through their vision of providing coaching to students, integrating it with CBSE syllabus and using blended classrooms to transact this coaching.

It proved to be a fruitful session for all.
