Noida, 2017: Voting in India is a Constitutional right if one is a citizen over 18 years of age. Voting Day is not to be considered a day of rest but an honour conferred to the citizens of India by its founding fathers.

Voting is an agent to bring about the desired change in the country and is as much a responsibility as it is a right. Thus, in line with these thoughts, the Primary Department of Apeejay School, Noida organised activities like Slogan Writing, Poster Writing, Letter Writing and Declamation for classes III, IV and V on the topic of ‘Right to Vote’ for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections.

This was done to generate awareness amongst the parents about the need to exercise their right to vote and reiterate the fact that the whole edifice of Indian democracy is built on the foundation of voting.
