Noida, February 22, 2017: The Sports Appreciation Day of the School’s Primary Department was held on February 22, 2017. The programme commenced with a positive message from the Primary In-charge whereby she quoted that Sports develop a sense of friendliness among children and develop their team spirit. They help the children to develop the mental and physical toughness.

More than 450 proud prize winners received their prizes for various athletic events – Football, Races, Basketball, Tennis Tournaments, Swimming Competitions, Inter-House Events and Yoga Competitions. Prizes for National Science Olympiad and Cyber Olympiad were also distributed. Apeejay International School Principal, Mrs. Nikita Mann and Vice-Principal, Mrs. Amrita Hajela addressed the students and motivated them towards developing true sportsman spirit.

New Delhi, Feb. 19, 2017: A team of 55 students of Apeejay School, Noida, comprising Class VIII students, including hostellers and members of the school staff participated in the Paryavaran Walk at the India Gate. This awareness drive was aimed to express solidarity towards environment conservation for social transformation.

The objective of the campaign was to inspire participating youth and adults to become ambassadors for conservation of water resources & environment for taking it forward with a sense of commitment and renewed consciousness for nation-building.

The Chief Guest, Mr RajyaVardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, flagged off the PHD Swachh Paryavaran Walk at Rajpath.

School children from nearly 150 schools in and around Delhi participated with several NGOs, RWAs, PHD Chambers Members and Rotarians to spread awareness related to Swachh Paryavaran and as to how it can be prevented from degradation. Apeejay School Band in all its elegant uniformed splendour led the contingents in the Walk.
