Noida, Nov. 30, 2017: Chitra and Dhairya Foundation organised ‘Sparkles and HOPE 2017’, a two-day painting exhibition at the Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, New Delhi in collaboration with ONGC.

Budding artists of classes IX and XI, accompanied by faculty member Mrs. Anuradha Mittal, visited the Art Gallery and had glimpses of the paintings titled ‘Whispering Hues’ by artists, Ms. Bula Sarkar and Ms. Gayatri Tandon. They participated in an interactive workshop with Ms. Charu Das, the coordinator for the programme.

They also got an opportunity to meet Dr. Zoltan Wilhelm, Director of the Hungarian Cultural Center. Umang Sharma, one of Apeejay School, Noida students, also shared her experience about her visit to Budapest for a Kathak performance.

Noida, Nov. 29, 17: The ninth edition of Inter-School Fiesta ‘NAV UDAAN 2017’ was organised on the theme ‘Mamta’ for the students of classes Nursery & KG. More than 250 students from 23 prestigious schools of Delhi NCR participated enthusiastically in the fiesta. Experts from various fields were invited to judge six different events.

In the welcome address, School Principal, Mr. S.C. Tiwari urged the gathering that children should be nurtured with great care and attention so that they become successful human beings. The Primary In-Charge, Mrs. Smriti Samuel briefed about the events and emphasised on the use of education as a powerful tool to transform every child into a responsible citizen.

The event was a perfect amalgation of sports, dance, arts and creativity. The winners of the events were presented a trophy and a Certificate of Merit. Each participant was given a gift comprising a story book and a participation certificate. Everybody present at the fiesta enjoyed immensely and was enthralled by the zeal of the little ones.
