Vigilance Awareness Campaign
November 4, 2016: On the clarion call of the Central Vigilance Commission - the Apex Vigilance Institution of the Country, a Vigilance Awareness Campaign was organised by Nehru House. This year, the theme for the same was ‘Public participation in promoting Integrity & Eradicating Corruption’.
A ‘Talk’ and an ‘Awareness Walk’ were organised in which students of classes VI-VIII participated by preparing placards with a slogan on various topics such as Honesty, Good Governance and Prevention of Corruption. This was followed by ‘Citizen’s Integrity Pledge’ administered by the School Vice-Principal.
The event aimed at generating awareness and evolving a sense of representation among the students.
Two of the School’s students also participated in an Inter-School Quiz organised by the Indian Oil Corporation at the Scope Convention Centre, Lodhi Road to commemorate the Vigilance Awareness Week. 36 schools participated in the quiz. It was an educative and informative experience for the students.
Participation of Band Students in Road Safety Month Celebration
Noida, November 4, 2016: Apeejay School, Noida is proud of its band which has brought glory to the School by participating at various platforms. One such opportunity was given to the students when they were invited to perform as part of the Road Safety Month Celebration by the District authorities on November 4, 2016. The programme was organised at the Police Headquarters, Sector 14, Noida and was graced by the presence of SSP, Traffic, Noida and SP, Traffic, Noida. A total of 34 students accompanied by the Band teacher performed before the august gathering. The officials interacted with the band members and complimented them for their band display.
