Noida, Sep. 5 & 6, 2016: Teachers' Day was celebrated with great pomp and show in the School. Earlier in the day, teachers were given a grand welcome at the main gate. Book marks and flowers were given by the Prefectorial board members to show reverence to the mentors who toil hard to bring out the best in students.

Students from the Primary Wing shared an informative talk and sung an inspirational song as a mark of profound respect for the teachers and mentors. The Primary In-Charge, Mrs. Smriti Samuel, addressed the students, conveying the importance of having teachers in one's life. She also highlighted the influence of the teachers in moulding the lives of the young ones.

Students from the senior classes presented a cultural show dedicated to teachers. The performance was highly appreciated. The Head Boy and the Head Girl were the acting Principal and Vice-Principal for the day. Teachers were treated with a sumptuous lunch in the School Hostel.

The students and staff of Pre-Primary Wing organised a special assembly to celebrate Teachers' Day on Tuesday, September 6. The celebration was to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and to pay tribute to all the teachers. The students paid homage to the great educationist. They presented a dance in their colourful attires to celebrate the presence of the guiding stars in their lives. It was a fun-filled day for teachers and students.

Noida, Sep. 6, 2016: It was indeed a matter of pride for all the Apeejayites as Mr. S.C. Tiwari, School Principal, Apeejay School, Noida received the most prestigious ‘National Award for Teachers’ from the honourable President of India, Sh. Pranab Mukherjee, for his contribution to the field of education.

On this special occasion, a special assembly was conducted by Nehru House. A PowerPoint presentation on Mr. S.C. Tiwari’s journey from a Biology teacher to a Principal was also presented. The students felicitated him for his monumental achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. S.C. Tiwari, very humbly, gave the credit of the award to the diligence and dedication of teachers and the hard work of students. He reiterated that the purpose of education was man-making and nation-building. In his message to the students, he urged them to rise above the self, believe in themselves and grow into good human beings. In the years to come, he shared, his dream is to work with the less privileged and make a difference in their lives.
