Visit by Apeejay Stya University Faculty
Noida, September 29, 2016: Teaching faculty from Apeejay Stya University visited Apeejay School, Noida wherein the day-long session was initiated by the Senior Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Shefalee Gupta. The School Principal, Mr. S.C. Tiwari introduced the team to the audience and extended a formal floral welcome to them. He spoke about the latest trends in higher education and informed about the vision of the Founder Chairman of Apeejay Education Society, Dr. Stya Paul.
Prof. Pervaiz Alam, Dean, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Apeejay Stya University, along with his team, initiated the session and addressed the concerns of the students. The professors also introduced various programmes to the audience. Prof. Alam interacted with the students and discussed the need for academics.
In the later part of the session, students were divided into various groups as per their choice and interest. It was a very fruitful and enriching workshop that left the students well informed and enlightened.
Inter-House Dance Competition
Noida, September 28, 2016: The stage came alive as the students of the four houses of the Primary Department staged spectacular dances in the Inter-House Dance Competition. The theme for the Competition was ‘Games/Sports’. The dance troupes mesmerised the audience with their fluid movements and scintillating performances based on the given theme. The Houses selected varied sports such as Cricket, Hockey, Hide and Seek, Badminton, Wrestling, etc.
The attractive dance movements, the concept ,the synchronized steps and the fascinating props of every dance made it tough for the judges - Mrs. Dola Bhattacharjee, Mrs. Nameeta Saxena (trained dancers) and Mrs. Ilina Chatterjee (Dance teacher, Apeejay School, NOIDA) to decide the winner.
The occasion was also graced by the School Principal, Mr. S.C. Tiwari and Mrs. Nikita Mann, Principal, International School. The Primary In-charge, Mrs. Smriti Samuel announced the prize winners and applauded them on their success.
