New Delhi, Aug. 27, 2016: The Head of the English Department of Apeejay School, Noida, Ms. Surabhi Gupta, received the 'Teaching Excellence Award 2016' in the Innovative Strategies in English (secondary level), organised by the Progressive Teachers' Magazine and the publishing giant, S. Chand Group. She received the prestigious Award at a Teachers' Conclave held at New Delhi, which was graced by a galaxy of luminaries from the field of Education.
She was adjudged the best in the above mentioned category, for incorporating innovative ways of teaching English at the Senior School level, and was shortlisted from among a number of nominations received from across India.
CBSE Expression Series on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
Noida, April 14, 2016: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, CBSE conducted an Expression Series on him. The purpose was to recognise and appreciate the literary & creative skills in the students through poems, speech or sketches. This national level competition was held on 13th and 14th April 2016. Tanya Arora from Class VIII registered her victory in the same. She bagged an appreciation certificate as well as a cash prize of Rs. 2500/-.
