Celebrating Festivals

In our multicultural society we need to instill and enforce the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, compassion, patriotism and solidarity in our children. A celebration in the form of special assemblies is an effort to sensitize students towards living in harmony in a diverse society. They are taught to learn to use their thinking ability and skills to work for a safe and better world and to live in harmony with their fellow beings.

Baisakhi and Ram Navmi, Earth Day, Mothers Day, Doctors Day, Grand Parents Day, Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day, Janamashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Eid-ul-Fitr, Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, Dussehra, World Food Day, Diwali, Guruparv, Children's Day, Christmas, Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal, Republic Day, Basant Panchami, Martyr's Day, Maha Shiv Ratri were all celebrated with great enthusiasm.


April 7, 2022 Apeejay School, Noida celebrated World Health Day to spread awareness about good health and draw attention of students towards the well-being of our planet and the humans living on it.

The World Health organisation has earmarked the 7th of April, every year as World Health Day, with different themes every year focusing on the currently prevailing health matters requiring immediate attention. The theme for World Health Day 2022 is 'Our Planet, Our Health'.

Keeping the aforementioned theme in mind, students from Nursery to Class V, indulged in a plethora of creative activities to celebrate this special day. Class Teachers gave an informative talk and explained the significance of WHD. Students brought colourful and nutritious food in their tiffin boxes.

Nursery and KG students enjoyed Rainbow fruit chat and were shown a presentation on ‘Healthy us’ in the Smart Lab. Class 1 and 2 students were involved in Personal hygiene and oral hygiene activities. Class 3 students enjoyed the ‘Draw and Tell’ activity about their favourite ‘Healthy food’. Class 4 was engaged in the Show and Tell activity on ‘Fresh and Packed food’. Class 5 students designed posters on WHD 2022 theme. These hands-on activities brought out the creativity and imagination of the students.

Principal Mr. AK Sharma, Vice Principal Mrs. Amrita Hajela and Primary In-charge Mrs. Smriti Samuel interacted with the students. The students explained the activities they had performed. Principal Sir advised the students to take care of the planet as they would be later on handing over our precious planet to the next generation.

Overall, it was an enriching experience for the teachers and students.

Class Party for Students & Blanket Distribution for Staff

Noida, Dec 31, 2021: As the New Year begins and the old one ends, the students of classes Nursery to V bid adieu to this year on a positive note with fun, frolic, gaiety, and joy!

Endings should be celebrated as they precede new beginnings. To ring in the New Year with renewed hope, enthusiasm, and fervour, Class Teachers of classes Nursery to V conducted a class party in the first period on Friday, December 31, 2021, via the Zoom platform.

The students dressed up in their party best and joined the celebration. The teachers ensured that the students enjoyed a peppy party with groovy music.

School Principal, Mr. AK Sharma, and Primary In-charge, Mrs. Smriti Samuel, reiterated the importance of New Year Resolution by quoting that every resolution we make on this day implies that we are in control of ourselves. They implied that we can be focused individuals who can make choices to change our lives for the better.

The blankets were distributed to the ancillary staff to warm the hearts of the staff that works relentlessly to make our lives easy.
