School Activities


Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.

Apeejay School, NOIDA, provides various opportunities for training of students for leadership. The school provides this training through two official bodies- PREFECTORIAL BOARD and THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. The school is further divided into four house systems – GANDHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE AND TAGORE HOUSE. These houses are looked after by a team of House Prefects and House Wardens.

The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Apeejay our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.

Noida, July 01, 2023: In accordance with the theme of the month, ‘Health and Hygiene’ the students of Class I learned about the significance of maintaining good health by including nutritious food in their diet.

The students of Class II participated in an activity wherein they took a different number of crayons/ pencil colours and put them together to understand the concept of addition. They later extended this activity outside the classroom and explored the campus for things they could count and add, such as plants, trees, flowers, pebbles and swings etc. to further grasp the concept of addition

Noida, June 1, 2023: A workshop for teachers was organised in the school auditorium on 1 July 2023. The resource person for the day was Ms Upasna Kaura from The Hindustan Times. The theme for the workshop was, "Power of Unlearning". It was an interactive session and teachers were involved in various entertaining activities. Ms Kaura spoke about the importance of unlearning as it helps one and all to evolve and keep pace with the changing times.

Noida, June 1, 2023: The Commerce and Humanities department of Apeejay School, NOIDA organised an Economics and AI event. The Students of classes XII C, XII D and XII F discussed the following topics:

  1. Economic growth and Environmental protection: A win-win situation
  2. Artificial intelligence and its impact on Economy
  3. China's economic slowdown and its impact on Indian economy

The students made well-researched presentations based on extensive study & analysis. The event was attended by the Principal, Vice-Principal and students of classes XI and XII. The event concluded with an address by Principal Ms Ritu Kohli who was highly appreciative of the efforts of all the participants and gave them positive feedback for further improvement.

Noida, May 12, 2023: At Apeejay School, Noida, students from Classes VI-VIII celebrated Mother’s Day in a unique and creative way. The activities were based on the age group of the students, Class VI students participated in the "Pop-up Mother's Day" activity and created beautiful pop-up cards for their mothers. The Class VII students participated in "Creative Couponing" activity where they made coupons for their mothers whereas the students of Class VIII took part in "T-Shirt Designing" activity. They designed and created personalised T-shirts for their mothers using various colours and themes. It was a heartwarming experience to see the students gifting their creations to their mothers and cherishing the special moment with them.

Noida, May 10, 2023: To apprise the students of the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, the activity 'Spin a Yarn' was conducted for the students of Class VIII. The activity aimed to make the students understand the beliefs and ideology of Swami Vivekananda and in turn imbibe the virtues exhibited by him. The inspiring anecdotes from the life of Swami Vivekananda motivated and encouraged the students to aspire for a more meaningful life and become better individuals.
