School Activities


Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.

Apeejay School, NOIDA, provides various opportunities for training of students for leadership. The school provides this training through two official bodies- PREFECTORIAL BOARD and THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. The school is further divided into four house systems – GANDHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE AND TAGORE HOUSE. These houses are looked after by a team of House Prefects and House Wardens.

The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Apeejay our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.

Noida, August 27, 2016: The Interact Club of the School hosted a Poster-Making event for the parents of the Pre-Primary and Primary students. The themes for the event were:

  1. Conservation of our Environment
  2. Gender Equality
  3. Our legacy for our Children

The event was a great success as a large number of parents enthusiastically participated and made beautiful & socially relevant posters. Such collaborative efforts go a long way in reinforcing a spirit of camaraderie between the School and the parents

 

 

 

Noida, August 24, 2016: The School celebrated 'Hindi Week' from August 22-26, 2016. As part of the celebration, among other things, the Hindi Department organised a Collage Making Competition for classes VI-X. The topic of the collage was ‘Shri Krishna’, as it was held on the auspicious occasion of 'Janmashtami’.

 Students participated enthusiastically in this competition wherein the hidden talent of the students' creativity came into the limelight.

Noida, July 15, 2016: Students of Class III participated in an 'Inter-Section Book Mark Making Competition' wherein the students were given a choice of three techniques – quilling, interesting quotations and colourful cutouts with which they could decorate the book marks. Students designed beautiful book marks giving wonderful messages on kindness, loyalty, friendship, honesty, etc. Students enthusiastically participated and artistically shared their thoughts. Mrs. N. Mohsin, Senior Art Teacher, was the judge for the Competition.

Book Mark Making

Noida, April 4, 2016: A special assembly, to mark the beginning of the new academic session 2016-17, was conducted wherein a firm resolution to achieve newer and greater heights was undertaken by the Apeejay family. In addition to the prayer, shloka, thought for the day and news, a documentary on ‘Success’ was screened to motivate the students. On the occasion, the School Principal also encouraged the students and teachers to scale new heights in the coming session.

Noida, February 29, 2016: Inter-House Quiz Competition was organised for the students of the Primary Department wherein six students from classes III to V represented their Houses. The quiz was hosted by Ms. Rashi Rawal, while Ms. Deepti Mathur was the time keeper and the scores were recorded by Ms. Reeti Jain. The computer department prepared interesting and brain-tickling questions to be put up for the participants. The participants answered a wide variety of questions including multiple choice questions, direct questions and visual clippings.

The final result of the quiz was as follows:

  • 1st prize: Radha Krishnan House
  • 2nd prize: Gandhi House
  • 3rd prize: Nehru House
  • 4th prize: Tagore House
