School Activities


Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.

Apeejay School, NOIDA, provides various opportunities for training of students for leadership. The school provides this training through two official bodies- PREFECTORIAL BOARD and THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. The school is further divided into four house systems – GANDHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE AND TAGORE HOUSE. These houses are looked after by a team of House Prefects and House Wardens.

The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Apeejay our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.

Noida, August 28, 2023 With an endeavour to sensitise students to their obligation towards the Mother Earth, Apeejay School, Noida, launched the "One Child One Plant" campaign. Students from Classes VI to XII planted saplings on school premises, along with the Principal, Vice-Principal and teacher in-charges. The activity aligned well with the School's emphasis on experiential and multi-disciplinary learning, contributing to the overall development of students as responsible and conscientious citizens.

Noida, August 28, 2023: An Intra-Class Mathematics competition – ‘FUN WITH TANGRAMS’ was organised for the students of Class IV. It aimed at the overall development of our young mathematicians. Each student was given an equal opportunity to participate and submit their initial entries to their respective Math teacher. The students used their creativity and innovative skills to draw/create a scenery using tangram pieces on the theme - ‘MY COUNTRY-MY PRIDE’. The results of the competition are as follows:

  • Second Position- Samriddhi Jain (Class IV B)

Noida, August 25, 2023: Continuing with the celebration of the glorious landing of Chandrayaan 3 on moon, Apeejay School, Noida organised another special assembly on August 25, 2023. An enriching talk was delivered highlighting the journey of the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission. Also, a dance performance and a song added festivities to the occasion. In her address, Principal Ms Ritu Kohli congratulated the performers for their soulful performances and shared that one must be focused towards their goals. The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

Noida, August 24, 2023: The students of Classes I and II engaged in a fun activity at the sand pit that nurtured their artistic expression as well as sensory exploration. Before the activity, the students were briefed about the rules to be followed in the sandpit for their safety. While playing in the sandpit the students indulged in movements such as digging, scooping, pouring, pushing and lifting that helped in developing their gross and fine motor skills.

Noida, August 18, 2023: With the objective of learning the names of different neighbouring countries of India and their location, the students of Class II participated in an experiential learning activity. Each student got a flash card with the name of a neighbouring country of India. They had to find the same on a map of India with its neighbouring countries drawn on the floor. They searched for the location of the country allocated to them and stood in the correct position accordingly.
