School Activities


Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.

Apeejay School, NOIDA, provides various opportunities for training of students for leadership. The school provides this training through two official bodies- PREFECTORIAL BOARD and THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. The school is further divided into four house systems – GANDHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE AND TAGORE HOUSE. These houses are looked after by a team of House Prefects and House Wardens.

The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Apeejay our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.

Noida, August 10, 2023: The Inter House Competition - Literary Characters Come Alive for classes VI-VIII was conducted on the 10th of August, 2023.

The competition aimed at celebrating the magic of English literature by bringing classic and iconic characters to life, and igniting the students' passion for reading, acting, and storytelling.

The literary marvels from fantasies like Beauty and the Beast, classics like Mark Twain, and the ever-living Shakespearean characters were presented by students of classes VI, VII, and VIII.

The participants portrayed the characters with such zeal it seemed that they 'literally came alive.' They made us live the stories all over again with fresh emotions welling to the brim turning the event into a remarkable one which was thoroughly enjoyed by the judges and the audience.

The event concluded with high praise from the Vice-Principal and the judges alike declaring the Nehru House victorious.

Noida, August 09, 2023 The School organised 'Rolling Balloons' for Class I students. It was instrumental in improving the gross motor skills, alertness and team work. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity and appreciated the equal involvement of their teachers. They exhibited remarkable enthusiasm in participating in these educational activities, making it a day filled with valuable lessons and delightful experiences.

Noida, August 08, 2023: The students of Class VII A conducted a special assembly on the theme ‘Quit India Day.’ It began with a beautiful shloka followed by a powerful line about the once-in-a-lifetime privilege of being born as an Indian. The beautiful song 'Ae Watan' sung by the students filled the atmosphere with patriotism. The informative session was followed by an energetic dance performance presenting the resolve to stay independent in mind, body and soul.

Noida, August 08, 2023: The students of Class I embarked on an exciting ‘Scavenger Hunt,’ wherein they got clues from their teacher and set out to search for different shapes hidden at various places. The victorious students radiated with joyful smiles. The students enjoyed these educational activity, making it a day filled with valuable lessons and joyful experiences.

Noida, August 02, 2023: The students of Class I & II actively participated in the hands-on activities. Class I students watched the story, 'The Ants and the Grasshopper' on the smart board and were motivated to act out the story using expressions, voice modulation, intonation and props.

With the objective of understanding prepositions better, the students of Class II were taken outdoors for a fun-filled activity. They placed kites in various locations and positions to help them grasp the concept of prepositions more effectively. Both the activities organised for Classes I & II, proved to be fruitful and enjoyable for all the students.
