School Activities


Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.

Apeejay School, NOIDA, provides various opportunities for training of students for leadership. The school provides this training through two official bodies- PREFECTORIAL BOARD and THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. The school is further divided into four house systems – GANDHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE AND TAGORE HOUSE. These houses are looked after by a team of House Prefects and House Wardens.

The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Apeejay our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.

Noida, Nov. 20, 2015: A clay modelling performance was organised for kindergarten students wherein they made colourful compositions on Nature, Animal Kingdom and Fruit Basket. The dexterity, creativity and imagination of the students were laudable.

Noida, Nov. 10, 2015: A special assembly was conducted in the School ground by the Nehru House (Senior & Middle Block) on the topic of the festival of lights - Diwali. The objective of the assembly was to make the students aware of this festival - why and how it is celebrated. The assembly commenced with prayer, followed by Doha, its meaning, thought, news updates, talk, poem and nukkad natak.

The students of the Primary Department heralded the festival of lights, Diwali, by presenting a cultural extravaganza with a lot of joy and enthusiasm wherein more than 150 students set the mood of festivity by invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh, Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ram by presenting a mesmerising song. An inspiring skit was also dramatised showcasing the Diwali celebration of the modern era and ancient times. A powerful message of dire consequences of adding to the pollution of the environment by bursting crackers was brilliantly staged as well. The students took a pledge to have a pollution free and eco-friendly Diwali and save plants for the future generation. A captivating dance performance was the bonus bonanza of the day. The School Principal, Mr. S.C. Tiwari and Primary In-Charges wished all the students a very happy and a prosperous Diwali.

Noida, Nov. 10, 2015: Students of the Middle School actively participated in the Rangoli, Bandhanwar-Making and Candle Decoration competitions. Blending the traditional with copious doses of modernity, the students made amazingly colourful rangolis in the Middle School & Senior School Hexagon and in the main reception area. Students also decorated the candles in the most innovative and interesting way. It was indeed a competition celebrating the true spirit of the festive season.

Noida, Nov. 6, 2015: An Art Competition was organised by NTPC to raise awareness among the students on ‘Energy Conservation’. Divyank Gupta's (Class IV D) entry was shortlisted for state level competition which was to be held at Lucknow on 6th Nov. 2015.

Noida, October 26, 2015: An inter-house quiz competition on the books of Roald Dahl for classes VII and VIII was organised by the Book Club wherein students from each house participated enthusiastically. Students, avid readers of Roald Dahl books, energetically participated in the Competition with healthy competition spirit. The School Principal and Vice-Principal shared their words of wisdom and motivated students to be voracious readers. Participants of the Radhakrishnan House stood first in the Competition.
