Enrichment Programmes For Teachers

Noida, July 2, 2018: The day started on an auspicious note with prayers offered to the Almighty. Minutes for the previous meeting were read out and newly inducted teachers were introduced by the School Principal.

Teachers were apprised about the achievements for the month of May and June 2018. Topography of the School was shared for the benefit of the newly inducted staff so that they are acclimatized with the surroundings. Outstanding results of CBSE (classes XII-X) were also shared and teachers were congratulated for the same. To acknowledge the high achievers and their hard work, a scholarship of Rs. 500/- per month for all the students who have scored 92% and above as the aggregate was announced on the occasion.

The staff was duly apprised of the various repairs & maintenance work carried out during the summer vacation, to be shared with the parents as and when required. Faculty was also informed about the projects to be initiated and their key responsibility areas. The annual activity schedule was also shared with the faculty.

An inspirational PowerPoint presentation was also presented by the School Principal.

Noida, May 28-29, 2018: A two-day Capacity Building Workshop on Accountancy (Class XII) was conducted at Apeejay School, Noida. In his inaugural address, School Principal Mr S.C. Tiwari spoke about the need to remain in touch with the changes in the curriculum and methodology to transact it in the classrooms.

Ms Shefalee Gupta, Senior Academic Coordinator welcomed the resource persons – Mr Gaurav Palia, a mentor with a rich experience of 15 years and Mr S.S. Sehrawat, Former Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The resource persons shared their rich experience with the participants that would help them in day-to-day conduct of classes.

A total of 58 teachers from 42 vicinity schools and neighbouring districts attended the workshop. It was an enriching experience for all the members.
