Delhi, Nov 8, 2020: ‘Voice your Opinion’ debate was organised by the Rotary Club of Delhi. The prelims of the debate were held on 2nd November 2020. The topic was ‘Redefining Privacy: Are we ready to trade our secrets for a convenient lifestyle?’.

Apeejay School, Noida, was represented by Anusha Tikkha and Aditi Chaturvedi. 35 reputed schools of Delhi NCR had participated in the prelims round. After a tough round of debate and interjections, the Apeejay School, Noida team qualified for the final round.

The final round of the debate was held on 8th November 2020. The topic of the debate was ‘This house believes that the virtualization demeans the traditions of education’.

Aditi Chaturvedi spoke for the motion and Anusha Tikkha spoke against the motion. Their views were greatly appreciated by the panel of judges.

The School team won the second position and a cash prize of Rs 10,000/-.

New Delhi, January 22, 2020: Parth Bansal, a student of Class XII, Apeejay School, Noida, is the proud recipient of the prestigious Pradhanmantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar 2020, one of the highest recognitions bestowed by the Hon. President of India, upon the deserving children of India.

Parth was felicitated by the revered President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind at a special Ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on January 22, 2020. This laurel has been awarded to Parth for his outstanding invention - a laser stick designed especially for patients suffering from Parkinson disease. The stick will assist such patients in controlling their unstable gait.

The inspiration for this unique and innovative device came from constantly observing his grandmother's difficulty in walking. The stick promises to be a boon for such patients.

Parth's landmark achievement is a testimony of the rich scientific temper instilled in the students at Apeejay School, Noida. Critical thinking and innovation are an integral part of the School’s ethos.

Noida, May 2018: Apeejay School, Noida is a proud recipient of the prestigious International School Award accredited by the British Council. The Award is an appreciation for internationalism woven in the School curriculum and activities undertaken in the School, providing an insight into the international projects taken throughout the year that highlight universal brotherhood, collaboration, research and teamwork among the students of the School.

Students collaborated with schools from Hong Kong, USA, Nepal and UK to exchange ideas and also to acquaint themselves with the culture of those countries.
