Nerul, February 8, 2014: With a sense of pride and a tinge of sadness, the students of Class XI with the entire staff bid farewell to the 2013-14 outgoing batch of Class XII students.
Nerul, February 4, 2014: A special assembly was held on the occasion of Basant Panchami. The programme began with Saraswati Vandana, wherein shlokas in Sanskrit were chanted by the students of the primary classes to invoke the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati. Speeches were delivered in English and in Hindi on the significance of Basant Panchami, which is considered the first day of the spring season. This was followed by a melodious song. The primary students also performed a dance drama based on the theme ‘Saraswati and Kumbhakarna’. The School Principal, Mr. Rakesh Joshi, addressed the gathering on this occasion. He spoke at length about the significance of the spring season as he appreciated the efforts of the students. He also conveyed his best wishes to the students, their parents and the teachers.
Nerul, January 26, 2014: Republic Day Celebration took place in the school premises on 26th January 2014. The School Principal, Shri. Rakesh Joshi, hoisted the National Flag and students of Classes IV and V of the Primary Section attended this function. An exhibition, ‘Tapestry of Folktales’, had also been put up by the students of Class IV on this occasion. The Principal, Shri. Rakesh Joshi addressed the gathering and motivated the students to keep their spirit of patriotism alive.
Nerul, January 22, 2014: The ‘Fundamental Duties Day’was celebrated in the school wherein an inter-school poster competition was conducted to mark this occasion. The Class VIII D group bagged the first position and Class VIII A got the second position & Class VIII B got the third position. The posters made by the students were displayed on Republic Day.
