Mumbai, September 1, 2012: Some enthusiastic students of the school set out on a rally against 'Child Labour' led out by the Principal, Mr. Rakesh Joshi; Associate Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) M. R. Shipley and the Prefectorial Board. The school organised an inter-class poster-making competition for the students of Classes VI to X and the posters were displayed during the rally.

Before the rally commenced, an interactive session was taken up with Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central) Mumbai, Dr. R. G. Meena. He briefed the students about the current scenario of child labour in India and the ways to eradicate it. As the students marched through Nerul, they walked towards various shops and interacted with the shopkeepers and encouraged them to fight against child labour and the issues regarding it. It was a learning experience for the students.

Mumbai, September 5, 2012: The month of September started with the reminiscences of Shri Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who is the epitome of the true educational values to be imparted to the present day students. To commemorate the birth day of the great person, the School celebrated Teachers Day in the school precincts. A special morning assembly was conducted for the day. The students of XI and XII presented the assembly invoking the values and morals by showering the teachers with their love and respect.

A few select students carried out the responsibilities of the Principal, Associate Principal and the Co-ordinators for the day. The children presented an ensemble show consisting of dances, prayer song, and skit which really enthralled all present during the assembly. The cherry on the cake was a dance performance by a Pre-Primary child which enthralled the spectators.

September 15, 2012: Hindi week was celebrated with great pomp and celebration by the Apeejayites from 11th September to 15th September, 2012. Students from Classes I to X participated in the event with great enthusiasm to make it a great success. The corridors were decorated with pink charts symbolising the different eras of Hindi Literature, namely Aadikaal, Bhaktikaal, Ritikaal and the Adhunikkaal (also known as the Ancient Period, the Devotional Period, the Medieval Period and the Modern Period).

Many class competitions, aiming at making the students more interested in Hindi writings, were also held like story writing, poem writing, essay writing, etc. The morning assemblies were held daily in Hindi, emphasising the due importance of our mother tongue, Hindi. Two special events were organised on the 13th and 15th of September for the Secondary and Primary sections respectively.

Also, Shri Ram Manohar Pandey, a famous Hindi writer, graced the school by his auspicious presence on 13th September and immensely enjoyed the events including Talk Show, Play, Speech and the Song. The other special programme, held on the 15th was attended by Shri Sunder Chand Thakur, who is currently the editor of the Navbharat Times. The programme was immensely enjoyed by the audience.

Mumbai, September 25, 2012: The Interactors of the School (from Interact Club) spread the message of peace, unity and universal brotherhood on the occasion of World Peace Day. The day was celebrated to pledge for ourselves and our country so that we are able to live in peace and harmony. It was the concerted efforts of all that can bring unity in this world.

Keeping in view the message spread amongst all, the Interact Club along with our respected Principal, the Associate Principal, Academic Co-ordinators lit the candles as a symbol of love and peace. Moreover, there were placards with peace slogans which were put up in the vicinity of the School.
