Adolescence Education Programme

Nerul, Jan 16, 2019: A ‘Health and Hygiene Awareness Workshop’ was conducted for the girls of Classes VII to VIII on 16th January 2019. The aim of the Health and Hygiene Awareness Workshop was to create consciousness about maintaining personal hygiene and cleanliness as well as ensure that the girls understood how bad sanitation practices can hurt their and their families' health. The teens were also told about the negative impact of bad sanitation practices on the environment

Nerul, July 27, 2018: The AEP program for the session began with a workshop on ‘Life Skills’ for the students of Class IX on 27th July 2018 and was conducted by Principal, Mr Rakesh Joshi.

The students were taught about the applications of life skills such as thinking, social and negotiation skills in ones’ daily life. They were taught how to make wise decisions in tough conditions and to manage themselves creatively. This program made them comprehend that this is the time to take a step for themselves and say NO to peer pressure. Keeping in mind the vulnerability of the youth of today towards substance abuse and the increase in the number of addicts of tobacco, narcotic drugs, and alcohol the students of Class XI were allowed to educate their juniors - the IX standard on the harmful effects of substance abuse.

Nerul, Aug 25, 2017 : Topic: Substance Abuse and Peer

An Inter-Class Competition was held for Class IX on the topic of ‘Substance Abuse and Peer Pressure’ on 25th August 2017. On this day, students of classes IX presented their views on substance abuse in the form of plays, songs, and PowerPoint presentations. Their performances were judged by a panel of judges. A Question Box session was held to clear their doubts.
