New Delhi, Oct. 11, 2015: Celebrating the students’ achievements amidst an environment of hope and aspiration, Apeejay School of Management organised its 17th Convocation Ceremony on 11th October, 2015 at its Dwarka campus. On this occasion, 149 graduating students received Post Graduate Diplomas in Management (Marketing, Finance & HR) and five students were also awarded medals for their overall outstanding academic performance.
Prof. Furqan Qamar, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) was the esteemed Chief Guest for the occasion. Prof. Qamar delivered the Convocation address as he emphasised the value of experimentation and its impact on the society. He also congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to have an attitude of positivity that can win everyone’s heart.
Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, President, Apeejay Education Society and Co-Founder & Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, presided over the function and conferred the diplomas. Mrs. Berlia, during her address, shared her views about the changing business scenario and advised the students to believe in themselves. She also talked about contributing to the society and the value of being disciplined, dedicated and determined.
Prof. (Dr.) Alok Saklani, Director, Apeejay School of Management, presented a report on the institution’s achievements in the past academic year. Mrs. Berlia also administered the oath of ethical conduct to the students. A galaxy of scholars, members of the Governing Body & Academic Advisory Council, graduating students and their parents, attended this busy and memorable event.
