Kharghar, August 10, 2019: The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Kharghar had organised a Food Fiesta on the occasion of Parent Teacher Meeting on 10th August 2019, under the guidance of coordinators – Mrs Shashi Chhabra and Mrs Leela Kulkarni.

The Food Fiesta included stalls of Pani Puri, Chinese Bhel, Sandwiches and Juices. The stalls were put up by the student of classes VIII and IX. The parents who came for the meeting bought the snacks and juices wholeheartedly.

It was a successful event and the students earned quite a good amount of money from this sale.

The teachers too contributed to the funds. The School Principal also supported the cause. The students had a lot of fun doing it.

Kharghar, August 3, 2019: The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club for the session 2019-20 was held on 3rd August 2019. The Chief Guest for the event, Rtn. Stuti Sensarma, came along with the other dignitaries. The ceremony started with a prayer and was followed by the School song and the lighting of the lamp by the School Principal, coordinators, guests and the incoming & outgoing Presidents.

Then, there was a speech delivered by the School Principal, Mrs Tejaswini Kathdare, who encouraged the students to do their best. There was a speech by the outgoing President, Ms Anusha Mandal, who shared her experiences and the philanthropic activities taken up during her time as the President. Mrs Shashi Chhabra, the Coordinator of Interact Club motivated the new appointees to put their heart and soul in the work that they will do.

After the speech, the students were handed their badges. The newly appointed President, Ms Advika Sagar shared her views and plans for the coming year. The Chief Guest delivered an encouraging speech, asking the bearers to carry their duty with utmost sincerity and asking them to devote themselves entirely for the project.

The Ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks and the national anthem. The meeting was adjourned by Ms Advika Sagar.

Kharghar, August 2, 2019: The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Kharghar organised a Rakhi Mela for the occasion of Raksha Bandhan from 1st - 2nd August 2019, under the guidance of the coordinators – Mrs Shashi Chhabra and Mrs Leela Kulkarni.

Many of the rakhis were handmade. There were even readymade rakhis available. These were sold by the students of classes VIII and IX.

Parents were also invited to the Rakhi Mela. Mrs Tejaswini Kathdare, School Principal, also contributed to the fund. Many of the teachers supported the students who earned quite a good amount of money from this sale. The proceeds were handed over to an orphanage for the welfare of some children whom the Club sponsers every year.
